Call for Nominees
The Men’s and Women’s Regional Athlete Representatives are elected from the Clubs in each region annually.  The Men’s and Women’s Regional Athlete Representative are the nominees for the USCA Board of Directors for the positions of Men and Women's Athlete Directors. Each region will elect one man and one woman to the regional athlete representative position.  

1. You must be a USCAA Athlete member in good standing as of 1 Feb 2012

2. A conflict of interest may not exist that would be a violation of the USCA Board Responsibilities . Applicants are responsible for reading the USCAA Code of Ethics.

3. If a potential conflict of interest exists, applicant must provide the information at the time of submitting the bio/application to USCAA.

4. If a potential conflict of interest exists, the information will be forwarded by the Executive Director to the USCAA Board of Justice for consideration.  The decision by the Board as to the qualification of the applicant to serve on the USCA Board of Directors is Final.

5. Candidate must be willing to serve the full term of office and attend conference calls and Board meetings.


If you are elected to the USCAA Board of Directors, you are responsible for representing the athletes’ interests on the Board.  The responsibilities of the USCAA Athlete Directors include attending monthly teleconferences and face-to-face meetings of the Board.  The Directors are required to travel for the face-to-face meetings and sometimes results in missed classes.

Article 3 of the USCA Bylaws define the positions of the Board of Directors; Section 3.02 E. describes the Athlete Director positions:
Men’s and Women’s Athlete Directors: The Men’s and Women’s Athlete Directors shall be voting members of the Board. Together they shall be responsible for representing the Athletes’ interests to the Board of Directors. The Men’s and Women’s Athlete Directors shall perform such other duties as may be delegated by the Board of Directors. The Men’s and Women’s Athlete Directors shall have a term of office of one year. To be eligible for election as the Men’s or Women’s Athlete Director an individual shall be a current Athlete Member of the Association and shall meet the eligibility requirements for  competition at Association sanctioned events.
Send a bio and submit a picture of yourself via email only to elections@uscollegiatearchery.org  no later than 11 March 2012 .  Include the name of your University and disclosure of current or potential conflicts of interest. Late applications will not be accepted.  


Call for Nominees for West or East Region Director


The Region Director is elected by the Clubs in the west and east regions in the even years.  The Regional Directors are members of the USCAA Board of Directors for a period of two years.

The responsibilities of the USCAA Board of Directors include attending monthly teleconferences and face-to-face meetings of the Board.  The Directors are required to travel for the face-to-face meetings.

Article 3 of the USCAA Bylaws define the positions of the Board of Directors;
Region Director. The North Region Director shall be a voting member of the Board and shall be the Administrator, for matters outlined by the USCAA Board of Directors relating to the specific geographic area that encompasses the states listed in Section 1.04. The North Region Director shall be a Member Coach and not an Athlete Member of a USCAA Club from within the jurisdiction of the North Region. In addition, the North Region Director shall perform such other duties as may be delegated by the Board of Directors.
To be elected as the West or East Region Director, the following criteria apply:

1. You must be a USCAA Coach member in good standing as of 1 Feb 2012

2. A conflict of interest may not exist that would be a violation of the USCAA Code of Ethics or the USCAA Bylaws. Applicants are responsible for reading the USCAA Code of Ethics.

3. If a potential conflict of interest exists, applicant must provide the information at the time of submitting the bio/application to USCAA.
