3D USIAC Results

This weekend, 10 USCA clubs from across the country competed In the 2nd annual 3D U.S. Intercollegiate Archery Championship.  The host club, Hocking College and Coach Jeff Jones received kudos for an excellent event.  While it rained for three days before the event, the weather was chilly but sunny on Saturday and Sunday.

Archers shot a total of 40 targets; 20 at marked distances and 20 at unmarked distances with maximum of 45 yards.

The competitors included experienced 3D collegiate archers, archers new to the sport, and many target archers who had a great adventure and a lot of fun.

Congratulations to this year's winners in the following divisions:

Bowhunter Men
  1. Joshua McKinney, Liberty University
  2. Justus Leimbach, Penn College
  3. Adam Barnard, University of Missouri-Columbia

Bowhunter Women
  1. Danielle Thompson, Liberty University
  2. Maria James, Michigan State University
  3. Jordan Brooks, Wayne State College

Compound Open Men
  1. Alex Blake, Liberty University
  2. Riley Arnold, University of Wisconsin La Crosse
  3. Zachary Bixby, Penn College of Technology

Compound Open Women
  1. Elissa Falconer, Miami University of Ohio
  2. Katie Fladzinski, Michigan State University
  3. Kacey Eggers, Wayne State College

Full results will be posted On Monday.

The national champions all received a $500 scholarship.
