In July, the USCAA Board of Directors approved a new position on the Board of Directors. Eligible candidates must be knowledgeable and involved in collegiate 3D archery. After carefully reviewing the applications, the Board of Directors unanimously appointed Randy Latimer, Coach of the Northeast College Archery Team to a four-year position commencing in 2012.
Randy has a long history of supporting archery with his involvement in 4H and as the coach for the Northeast College Archery Team. He also has experience as an archer who participates in both target and 3D archery in the compound category.
Randy joins the USCAA Board of Directors who are responsible for establishing policies that Govern the Association, reviewing the By-laws, fundraising, and supporting the Mission and Vision of USCAA.
Also in July, the USCAA Board of Directors approved the creation of a nominating committee who are responsible for reviewing applications and selecting candidates to place on the ballot for Board of Director positions. The Committee is comprised of three members including one coach, one athlete, and one independent position. After careful consideration of the applications, the Board unanimously appointed, Brad Mondschein, Attorney at Pullman & Comley, Chris Luk, Coach Member, and Raeann Klein, Athlete Member. Mr. Mondschein will serve as Chairman of the committee.
