2013 Sunshine State Collegiate Cup

Information Packet


Registration Deadline: Must be postmarked by April 5, 2013 or paid on-line by the same date.  Late and on-site registration allowed for a higher free.  College students must be on the USCA eligibility list to compete, even if registering late.  Membership and eligibility is due 15 days prior to the event.

USCA MEMBERSHIP and Spring Semester Eligibility is REQUIRED

EVENT COST:  $35 by April 5 deadline, $45 late/on-site

VENUE: The Sunshine State Collegiate Cup will be held at the Easton-Newberry Sports Complex in Newberry, Florida.  

DIVISIONS: Bow Hunter, Compound, Recurve, Basic Bow (genesis, barebow, traditional)

GUEST DIVISIONS: Two guest divisions will be offered – one for youth, and one for part-time college students.
*Youth must be over 10 years of age and have membership in NASP, OAS, JOAH, or 4H to participate

Youth Age 13-14
Youth Age 15-17
Youth Age 18-20

*Part-Time Collegiate must be taking less than a full course load (under 12 credits undergraduate, under 9 credits graduate)

DRESS CODE: USCA Dress Code will be enforced

SHOOTING SCHEDULE

Saturday – 9:00 am Qualification Round, 72 arrows (70m Recurve; 50m Compound, Bowhunter, Basic Bow)
Sunday – 9:00 am Match-play

FROM ATLANTA: TAKE I-75 S.  TAKE EXIT 387 (NEWBERRY ROAD/FL-26/STATE ROAD 26 W) TOWARDS NEWBERRY.  TURN RIGHT ONTO N MAIN STREET (US-27 N/US 41 N/NW 250TH STREET).  EASTON-NEWBERRY SPORTS COMPLEX WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 1.5 MILES ON THE RIGHT (NW 16TH AVENUE).

Membership and eligibility will be verified once registration is submitted.

·       Be a member of USCA

·       Be a member of a USCA Club

·       Be full-time student at one university or college

·       Maintain a cumulative 2.0+ GPA or 3.0 for graduate students

·       Agree to abide by the USCA Code of Conduct

·       Agree to USCA liability waiver and requirements
