The 2013 National Indoors was hosted at eight different sites throughout the country spanning from February to March. With a record number of registrations (536 registered participants) and a 28% increase from last year, USCAA continues to show that it is one of the fastest growing organizations in the sport of archery. Within a few years of adding the Bowhunter and Basic Bow classes, USCAA has provided the opportunity for more than 130 archers to participate who were not included before. The Bowhunter men and women will have the opportunity to earn the titles of All–American and the Academic Archery Awards (AAH) this year. There were more Bowhunter men competing than in the Compound Women's division! And there was a 100% increase in the basic bow competition. Under the leadership of Executive Director Lorretta Sinclair, USCAA continues to create opportunities for all students to participate in the sport. The USCAA National Indoor Championship is one of two required tournaments for archers vying for the coveted All–American titles for Bowhunter, Compound, and Recurve. The second event is the USIAC, which will be held at Southern Utah University this year. The All–Academic honors will be awarded from the results of the National Indoor Championship and cumulative GPA's of 3.0 or higher.
