The 2012 National Indoors was hosted at eight different sites throughout the country spanning from February to March. Once again, USCAA had a significant increase in participation with a record setting 432 collegiate archers. The Bow Hunter and College Basic Bow divisions increased and continue to show that the addition of these divisions provides opportunities to our members. Executive Director Lorretta Sinclair states, 'With these phenomenal numbers of a 14% increase from last year, I anticipate another increase in attendance at this year's US Intercollegiate Archery Championship (USIAC) and 3D USIAC as well. We are proud of our athletes, coaches, and clubs, and their participation in National Indoors. '
The USCAA National Indoor Championship is one of two required tournaments for archers vying for the coveted All-American titles. The second event is the USIAC. The All-Academic honors will be awarded from the results of the National Indoor Championship and cumulative gpa's of 3.0 or higher.
