The US Collegiate A
rchery Association recently participated in the National Field Archery A ssociati on's World Archery Festival, held February 19 - 21 in Las Vegas, which is traditionally the year's largest indoor archery tournament. Supporting their athletes participating in the WAF Vegas Challenge, the USCA also exhibited at the event's trade show, joining many other archery industry manufacturers and organizations.
College archers from several different schools supported USCA during the event by volunteering to staff the organization's booth and distribute information about the many opportunities offered to college
archers by USCA. Participants included athletes from UC San Diego, UC Berkeley, Purdue University, Cal State Long Beach and Cerro Coso. Coach Mike Burnham of Cal State Long Beach, USCA Membership Chadrick Mansfield, and Executive Director Lorretta Sinclair also worked throughout the weekend to help spread the word about the USCA, which is working to make archery a part of the campus experience at every college in the U.S.
