Eligibility sessions:

1 January through 31 July

Athletes must submit Fall Session Archer Eligibility forms for the fall/winter semester and quarters to the Membership Manager by 15 September or postmarked 15 days prior to your first fall event. The Spring Session Eligibility forms are due no later than February 1st or postmarked 15 days prior to your first spring event. If you plan on shooting ANY tournament between December 31st and February 1st, then Spring Eligibility forms should be submitted prior to that event.

Of course, if you add new shooters or there is a change of status for someone, you may amend your Eligibility forms. If you plan to compete in any tournament that has a specific college division, whether it is local, state, regional or national, you must be declared eligible by the Membership Manager. What does that mean?

Eligibility requirements:

   1. Full-time student at any accredited college or university as recognized by the US Dept. of Education with a Federal School Code.

   2. Maintain cumulative 2.0 or greater GPA on a 4-point scale (3.0 for graduate students)

   3. Member of the appropriate organization as outlined above.

   4. Member of a college club registered with the US Collegiate Archery Association.

         A. ALL clubs must register online with the Archer Management System (AMS) and pay the requisite fees prior to competing. Failure to do so voids your club insurance and athletes are ineligible to compete in the college division.

Required Paperwork (all forms available for download above):

   1. Archer Eligibility

         A. Register with the AMS and submit eligibility information online.

         B. Print out the eligibility form and have the University Registrar verify the information regarding full-time student status and minimum gpa requirements. The form cannot be signed bya club president, and individual archer, the coach or the sports recreation department unless you have proof of full-time status such as transcripts or official documentation from the National Student Clearinghouse (see if your school uses it).

C. Each archer must sign the form next to their own information.

   2. Your club membership must be current. Submit payment and current information via AMS.

   3. Send the approved (by University Registrar) eligibility form to the address provided by the deadlines noted above. It is each club’s responsibility to ensure their athletes are eligible and have completed the appropriate forms and submitted them to the appropriate places. If athletes compete and are not eligible, they can expect to have their scores removed from the results and lose a year of eligibility. Clubs are also solely responsible for submitting eligibility information, the individual membership expiration dates, and the USCA club membership to the Membership Manager by the deadlines.
