US Collegiate Archery has internship and volunteer opportunities available for those interested in helping us continue to grow colege archery. We expect that more opportunties will be developing as we move forward, but for now, we would welcome your volunteer assistance in the following areas:
Tournament Director - maintains the master calendar of events for the organization. Updates our Google Calendar with important event information, and publishes results when they are available. Acts as liason for local and regional tournament directors, to US Collegiate Archery. Approximate time involvement: 1-2 hours per week.
Internships Available - US Collegiate Archery relies on volunteers to support the organization's needs. Internships are available. Student athletes may receive a small stipend dependent on the internship. All students who successfully complete their internship will receive a letter of recommendation for their portfolios and resumes. If you are interested in an internship, contact the Director for more information.
Current opportunities:
- -Statistics on scores and participation in US Collegiate Archery
- -Conduct various surveys on behalf of US Collegiate Archery
- -Make presentations to other organizations such as Archery Trade Association, National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP), and other youth organizations.
- -Moderate the US Collegiate Archery Forum
- -Work with the Marketing and Publicity coordinators to develop successful fundraising and marketing opportunities.
Southwoods Summer Camp/Archery Instructor - Southwoods, a private residential summer camp located in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, is seeking fun, outgoing, and energetic instructors to be a part of their archery program this summer.
