We don't require your club to have a coach...but we'll help you train or find one.
US Collegiate Archery accepts coaching credentials from all archery organizations. Featured below are resources to help your club with the process of certifying a coach.
Resources for USCA Coaches
National Alliance for the Development of Archery (NADA) - This organization administers Basic and Intermediate-Level Instructor Courses. These credentials are honored by USA Archery and the National Field Archery Association (NFAA).
USA Archery - This organization administers the Community Coach Course, as well as Regional and National coaching courses.
National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) - This program, aimed at teaching archery in school settings, offers a Basic Archery Instructor course.
Our Club Has a Minimal Budget. Can We Get Help With Certification Costs?
Absolutely. This past year, US Collegiate Archery Association was able to offer assistance with certification to many college archery coaches across the United States. Check this page again soon for information about opportunties of this kind.
Is There Ongoing Training for Collegiate Archery Coaches?
Yes. This year, we gave all of our coaches and athletes the opportunity to attend a BEST Method Seminar with Kisik Lee, National Head Coach for archery in the US. We offered this seminar at a very reduced rate to US Collegiate Archery Association athletes and coaches, and hope to offer more events of this kind in the coming year.
