From the CAP Assistant Director, Lorretta Sinclair:

Fall Session is 1 August through 31 December

In order to compete in any local, state, regional or national USA Archery tournament within the College division (you can always shoot in Senior division) you must meet all of the following CAP eligibility requirements:

  1. Full-time student status
  2. Minimum 2.0 GPA (3.0 for grad students)
  3. Be a member of USA  Archery
  4. Member of a recognized CAP club
  5. Complete and submit the team and academic eligibility forms

The Team Eligibility form can be signed by the club president or the club coach/advisor, but the Academic Eligibility form MUST be signed by the university registrar. For those clubs that are members of the sports recreation department, the athletic director or sports club director may also sign the form. If your club is direct through USA Archery, you MUST have the school registrar sign the form. Coaches, per the CAP Handbook, are not allowed to sign the academic eligibility form.

All eligibility forms (both Academic and Team) must be sent to the registrar 15 days prior to the first competition or by 15 August September, whichever occurs first. If you have problems due to class schedules, or schools that are on the quarter system, please contact the CAP Registrar, John Sahi, with your concerns PRIOR to any competitions.

Send eligibility forms (new clubs must also send a copy of their USAA Club Membership) to:
