Individual Results
Compound Men
Shooting his way to another Collegiate Championship was Braden Gellenthien, whose James Madison University team mate Michael Ashton won the silver, with David Roth from Michigan State University taking the Bronze medal.
Compound Women
The 2007 Women’s Compound Champion is Britanny Lorenti of James Madison University, with University of Nebraska, Lincoln archer Erika Anschutz winning the silver, and James Madison University’s Jessica Fasula taking home the bronze.
Recurve Women
In the men’s recurve division James Madison University’s Nate McCullough beat his teammate Jacob Wukie to take home the Gold medal, while Ted Harden of ASU beat Tim Meyers from Texas A&M University for the bronze.
Recurve Men
Finishing the medal matches were the women recurve archers with Central New Mexico Community College archer Kendra Harvey winning the Gold medal. Silver medal was won by ASU’s Maggie Huff, while Columbia women’s team member Stephanie Miller claimed the bronze by defeating her teammate Robin Liang.
FITA Round
Top FITA finishes in the qualifying round for compound men were James Madison University’s Brad Gellenthien with 1374, team mate Jedd Greshock 1365, and Michigan State’s David Roth with 1334. Women’s Compound top three were University of Nebraska’s Erika Anschutz, 1368; followed by James Madison University athlete Brittany Lorenti with 1328, and Texas A&M University’s Cassie Raffaelli with 1327 Recurve men, James Madison University archer Jacob Wukie finished in 1st with 1251, followed by his teammate Nate McCullough with a 1221, and Texas A&M University’s Tim Meyers finishing with 1211. The recurve women’s top qualifier was ASU’s Maggie Huff with 1214, followed by Kendra Harvey 1205 and Yale University archer Tina Jeon with 1201.
The 2007 All-American team was announced at the USIAC banquet. This honor is determined by the archer’s overall ranking in the combined total of the USIAC FITA and the National Indoor Championships score.
