Another great turnout for the Indoor National College Championships once again has college archers not only shooting well, but achieving great scores in the men’s and women’s divisions.
In the recurve men’s division, James Madison University Junior Jacob Wukie shot his way to Indoor National Champion with an 1157. Ted Harden of Arizona State University placed 2nd with an 1128, followed by Atlantic Cape Community College archer Bret Lazaroff shooting an 1123 for 3rd place.
Recurve women’s champion Kendra Harvey (Central New Mexico Community College) led the women’s recurve college division with an 1113, followed by Texas A&M University’s Corinne Yohann shooting a 1092. 3rd place in the College Archery Program division was California State University, Long Beach archer Carissa Dragan with a 1089.
Men’s compound college archery program Indoor National Champion, Braden Gellenthien’s score of 1194 not only earned him CAP National champion, but with a tie in 10’s and 9’s with Reo Wilde, Braden shares the Men’s Compound Division Championship title as well. 2nd place in the CAP division was Jedd Greshock (James Madison University) with an 1188, followed by Michigan State University’s David Roth, who shot an 1186.
Erika Anschutz of the University of Nebraska, Lincoln won double titles as well. With her 1174 score, Erika won the College Archery Program National Indoor title and also the Women’s Compound Division title. 2nd place in the CAP division was James Madison University’s Brittany Lorenti with an 1168, followed by Texas A&M University archer Josahan Jaime Santacruz.
Other athletes placing in the top 10 men’s and women’s division were: Men’s recurve, Jacob Wukie 8th; Women’s recurve, Kendra Harvey 5th, Erin Mickelberry (University of Washington) 7th, Corinne Yohann 10th; Men’s compound, Jedd Greshock 4th, and David Roth 6th.
