Two $500 collegiate scholarships for academic purposes will be awarded in 2007. To be considered for the college scholarship student athletes must:

  1. be a member of USA Archery
  2. belong to an USA Archery recognized collegiate division club
  3. be a full-time student. Full-time, in this case, means 12 or more units both semesters for spring and fall 2007, or all quarters for the same academic year or meeting your institutions requirements for both semesters/all qtrs. Proof of full-time status and gpa of 2.5 is required.
  4. Write a paper that includes the following: 
    • Why you participate in archery
    • how long you have been involved in the sport
    • how receiving this scholarship would benefit you
    • Why is sportsmanship important in archery?
  5. Include 2 photos of yourself to be used on the website
  6. Complete the coversheet

Other info for the college scholarships:

  1. There are no required tournaments or events to attend to be considered.
  2. All skill levels are encouraged to apply
  3. These scholarships are open to both recurve and compound athletes
